About Us

The Society of Hispanic Human Resource Executives (SHHRE) was founded in January 2007 by a group of Hispanic HR professionals who saw the need for an organization offering support, educational resources, information exchanges and career networking opportunities for Hispanics working in the field of human resources.

SHHRE aims to advance the work of Hispanic HR professionals in corporate America, serving as a virtual community connecting professionals of Latino heritage, allowing us to share news, advice and experiences.

As the number of Hispanics in the United States increases faster than any other minority group, so does the number of Hispanics rising through the ranks of Human Resources. As our organization grows, we hope to establish local chapters to offer connections within local communities and serve the needs of local members.

By advancing SHHRE as an organization, we will also be able to advance opportunities for our members within the HR profession, helping to develop an understanding of Hispanic HR professionals' contributions, strengths and concerns.

We invite you to explore this Web site, post information, and participate in forum discussions. Join Now.
