I am trying to enter the HR field. I have no experience what so ever. It is so hard to get in HR without any experience. I have my undergraduate in business and going for my MBA with HR concentration. Does anyone know where I can start? Thank you in advance!

Hello,
I may be able to offer you some help (if you are still in your search...I see you posted in Nov. 2007 and I may be a little late).
I, like you, am wanting to transition into a HR career. It's a tough field to break into...but it's not impossible.
Stay connected to boards like this and check daily to see what kinds of positions are available. I would also encourage you to seek the advise of a professional resume writer. Your resume may not reflect "HR" work you've done in the past...so start there. The other thing is to seek out HR yahoo groups in the Houston area, LinkedIn, meetup and other online communities offer free membership and the ability to network, network, network.
The other option (and one that's been told to me) is to seek recruiting positions to get your foot in the HR door.
I know eventually I'd like to be a generalist but for now I'm looking into recruiting and have some interviews lined up. It takes patience and networking, but soon you will get there if you don't give up.
Wishing you the best in your search.
