Productivity Rate Reaches Four-Year High

Productivity reached a four-year high at a rate of 4.9 percent, the most significant increase since the third quarter of 2003. The report was a result of a stoudy by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor.
The third-quarter increase was the biggest jump since a 10.4 percent increase in the third quarter of 2003.
